If you're interested in conscious living, then likely you're just as equally interested in Zen but simply not knowingly interested.

Usually Zen is associated with Japanese culture and religious or Buddhism practice, but true Zen (or at least the way this site uses the term) is emphasizing the value of conscious living.

Zen and conscious living come together and go hand-in-hand. Hence, conscious living without Zen is a huge oversight and vice-versa because these are not two.

"Conscious Flex: Zen & Conscious Living" is designed to offer a partnership of how these seemingly two are actually one movement.

Zen is the foundational spaciousness or presence from which conscious living derives. In the same manner that an artist, inventor or intuitive actions come from the stillness in the silence of non-movement.

In other words, Zen is a resting in the powerful space of not thinking about thought, not doing anything about doing, not trying to be the solver or understander, the knower collector but simply allowing the intelligence of life to flow through you and as you.

What is described can be thought of as meditation or accessing our intuition, but it's actually just natural living.

Often you will see kids in a natural resting space or presence and we tell them "snap out of it" because we think they are in "lala land" or "fantasy land" and not paying attention but actually they are simply being completely present with what is. It's natural to just rest and be, that's the flow from which insight and wisdom arises from.

Hence, conscious living is also the natural flow of how life organically expands upon itself. Consequently, conscious living is Zen living, when it's pure and without conceptual overlays.

  • How to Higher Your Current Level of Consciousness: Volume Two

    In the last article, “Higher Your Current Level of Consciousness: Volume One” there was a mention of two other main categories:

    1. Observation & 2. Focus. These ones are just as important:

    3. Energy- Albert Einstein and his equation E=MC2, in short states that the root source of all things is energy. Energy is all there is, all there ever was, and all there ever will be in the universe. Different energy levels have an influence and interact to your energy states; therefore being aware of energy is very increasing to the consciousness.

    These are a list of things that are directly related to energy:

    · Music- Music, singing, and dancing are very therapeutic to the expansion of the consciousness and opening up emotions that simulate feelings of relaxation, beauty, and infinite potential. Music has the ability to heal and bring into being higher states of mind and body. Sound is the force behind everything, for the reason that it creates energy into matter and holds the form of that energy by patterns in resonating frequencies. Sound holds energy in position by the speed of the frequency vibration. In other words, everything you see as solid is nothing more than a group of particles moving and vibrating at such tremendous speeds that it feels and looks solid to the naked eye but once you look at it under a microscope you will see the moving vibration. Everything in existence operates in this way. Yet some objects will seem less solid then others because of the difference in the vibrational state or the number of vibrations per second also known as the resonant frequency (Warning: that link will guide you to a video example of this but beware of your speak volume because the sound can get quite piercing). As long as the frequency is vibrating at the same continuous constant speed then the object will always remain in the same state and appear to be solid. Every organ in our body resonates with a natural frequency and the vibration state of the body as a whole. Every thought and emotion is an energy frequency that is continuously affecting the vibrational state of the body and music has the capability of higher your frequency. It is easy to recognize the music that brings your frequency to a higher state since it is the music that makes you feel good, in every sense of the word.
    · People- Conscious people will higher your conscious state, while unconscious people will lower your conscious state. In the article "different levels of awareness through conscious self" there was a presentation, as a guide line that the “Highest experience of Yellow” conscious level is where people start to become conscious. In fact anybody reading this article is almost guaranteed to be at least at this level (more than likely higher), since unconscious people would not be interested in an article is this nature. Yet whatever level you are currently at, seek to find, be present, and observe people in higher conscious levels. Doing this your consciousness will expand which will bring out more of who you really are and desire to be. However, there is a sense of balance to be found (that is different for each individual) in which being in the energy of higher conscious people, being in your own isolated energy and being around unconscious people to help them. Find your balance through following your joy in the moment and the universe will supply you with abundance of growth in consciousness.
    · Emotions- Your emotions are energy that is in motion. Emotions are what drive people to take action in every situation. The key to understanding yourself, the actions you take and the choices you make are in your emotions. Emotions are constantly changing and the choices you make now are not the same choices you will make given a different emotion. Every choice you make is defining an ultimate direction of your life, therefore it is critical that you master your emotions and shape your life through making conscious choices. Rather than making choices based on emotional response. There is a huge difference between mastering your emotions and trying to control the emotions felt. Allow yourself to feel any emotion that arises from whatever conscious state it appears, honor your emotions and you will be honoring yourself. Mastering your emotions is noticing where your emotional state is at, being aware of your emotions. Stop and take a step back before you make choices and observe your emotional status to consider if making that choice will have an impact in the direction of your life, that you may choose differently while in tune with your higher energy frequency of who you really are as a being of unconditional love and infinite potential.
    · Sexual Intercourse- Through sexual intercourse one can reach high levels of conscious states that no other human experience can offer. Energies are exchanged at such high energy levels of oneness that open up each individual to an expansion of unfathomable interchangeable access of experiences from within the life force of who we really are as infinite potentials, full of unconditional love. The beauty of this exchange of energies at these levels are unspeakable and can only be accessed through the compassion that is felt for the partner you are exchanging energies with. Consequently, I would immensely advise only to have sexual intercourse with a partner that you are willing to open yourself up to and willing to receive the opening up of your partners’ energies. The energies received between two people during intercourse (no matter who they are, what level of consciousness they are in, or the energy frequency that person resides under) there are energies that are exchanged that will cling into your energy-force (rather disempowering or empowering) for hours, days, weeks and even sometimes years. These energies will have a major impact on you and your conscious states, emotional status, mental stages and as a result will ultimately lead you to making choices you would otherwise not make. You can use any and all the things described throughout the entire article Volumes to clear the disempowering energy exchanges but the best way is to just be conscious of the people you choice to have sexual intercourse with.
    4. Body- The body is the vehicle, in which we experience everything in life; therefore, it is tremendously important to be conscious of it on every level.

    Here is a list of things to be conscious of in order to higher your conscious level:
    · Water- Water is predominantly important to all living things. Our bodies make up 60 percent of water, the brain is 70 percent water, and the lungs are close to 90 percent water. Our blood is around 83 percent water that helps to digest the food we eat, transport wastes through out bodies, and control body temperature. Each day humans must replace 2.4 liters of water, through drinking and absorbing water from food. Therefore, any kind of exposure to water is a consciousness strengthening lift. Drinking lots of water and eating watery foods (most fruits, vegetables and sprouts contain up to 90 percent water) are the highest level of exposure (although I would recommend purified water only) yet anything from taking showers/ baths, having aquariums tanks in the house, to being around Mother Nature’s bodies of waters, gives consciousness a profound advancement.


    · Food- Every organ in our body needs energy that is measurable electrically in MHz. (our brain, heart, lungs, liver, stomach etc) need at least 70 MHz to operate at peak of being healthy.

    · Sleep- The amount of sleep you get is obviously important. Get too much sleep and you feel a draining of your energy supply, get too little sleep and you do not feel replenished. However, I feel it is more important than most people give credit. Six days from now is a six month mark that I will have been experimenting with a sleeping pattern that has offered me to feel more awake, adjusted, aware, alive, vibrant, and energized than I have ever felt in my life through an eight-hour sleep cycle. My imagination, creative level, and subconscious mind seem to stay focused, heightened and strengthened still. My ability to solve problems, remember, think clearer, and being more aware are still lively than ever and I get the benefit of 40 extra hours a week of wake time than most people. It is called Polyphasic Sleep and it is an experience that has changed my life with benefits that most everyone seeks to have on every level. In fact, the experience is the whole reason I started my website since I felt a connection with self. That resulted in having clearer thoughts, a growth in intuition, happier with my life in general, no negative thoughts or feelings of depression, more aware to the world around me, more answers to questions I seek, more insight, more enlightenment, more inner knowledge, more wisdom, more peaceful, more of everything that I define themselves to be.
    · Consciously Deep Breathing- Breathing is the scientific key device that cleans your whole system and is in direct connection to your energy supply. It is the foundation of life since it gives oxygen to every cell the makes up your body and has direct contact to the most important cells that carry the oxygen throughout your body determines how healthy the body is and remains. The oxygen moving through the bloodstream removes dead and toxic cells in the body and this process receives unfathomable activation through deep breathing and muscular movement. Breathing effectively is vital good health. The dilemma is that most people do not know how they should effectively breathe in order to create a healthy body. The recommended ratio breathing would be inhale for one count, hold for four counts, then exhale for two counts. For example, if you inhale for five seconds, you would hold for seventeen seconds, the exhale for nine seconds. The reason you exhale for so long comparable to how long you inhale because when exhaling the body is eliminating toxins. You hold your breathe for a longer period compared to inhale because that is how the body fully activates the blood and activate your system. It is a recommendation to stop throughout your day and take ten deep breathes in this ratio at least three times a day for optimal health, full energy, and consciousness enlightening.
    · Laughter- Have you heard the saying 'Laughter is the best medicine'? Of course, laughter makes you feel good and it has a profound impact on your health and wellbeing. Laughter is the next best thing to “Consciously Deep Breathing” since laughter fills your lungs with much needed amounts of oxygen that give the body its health. It also clears your breathing passageways, exercises the lungs, reduces the body of harmful chemicals, drops blood pressure, straightens the immune system, balances out the body, and makes others laugh which in turn cause them to benefit from the same results.
    · Exercise- One of the healthiest things for your body is exercise, not only does it keep your organs physically powerful and productive but it keeps you in check that everything you are doing to your body is healthy as well. For example, if you run everyday then you will have a profound desire to eat healthy and if you do happen to eat that chocolate the night before then you will feel the impact of it, which will in turn give you a driving force in not eating that again. Also after and during any good length exercise your body will call upon you to drink lots of water. In addition, you will need less amounts of sleep (after you get a routine down which is around 22 days) since there is nothing draining your energy supply. Moreover, you will be happier with yourself, your body’s capabilities, and your life in general with the feeling of knowing that you are taking good care of yourself. To top it all off, the chances of you getting ill, to even the smallest of colds is very slim if you routinely exercise at least 20 minutes a day.
    It does not have to be difficult. All I do for my daily exercise is go running, and the more I do it, the more I like it. It will be difficult at first but well worth the effort. I set myself up with all the reasons mentioned in the paragraph above, along with some other empowering reasons. The secret is finding empowering meanings to exercise and pain for not exercising. When you change your meanings, reasons, thoughts, beliefs, definitions, perspectives or your imagination/visualization, then you change your experience.
