Welcome

If you're interested in conscious living, then likely you're just as equally interested in Zen but simply not knowingly interested.

Usually Zen is associated with Japanese culture and religious or Buddhism practice, but true Zen (or at least the way this site uses the term) is emphasizing the value of conscious living.

Zen and conscious living come together and go hand-in-hand. Hence, conscious living without Zen is a huge oversight and vice-versa because these are not two.

"Conscious Flex: Zen & Conscious Living" is designed to offer a partnership of how these seemingly two are actually one movement.

Zen is the foundational spaciousness or presence from which conscious living derives. In the same manner that an artist, inventor or intuitive actions come from the stillness in the silence of non-movement.

In other words, Zen is a resting in the powerful space of not thinking about thought, not doing anything about doing, not trying to be the solver or understander, the knower collector but simply allowing the intelligence of life to flow through you and as you.

What is described can be thought of as meditation or accessing our intuition, but it's actually just natural living.

Often you will see kids in a natural resting space or presence and we tell them "snap out of it" because we think they are in "lala land" or "fantasy land" and not paying attention but actually they are simply being completely present with what is. It's natural to just rest and be, that's the flow from which insight and wisdom arises from.

Hence, conscious living is also the natural flow of how life organically expands upon itself. Consequently, conscious living is Zen living, when it's pure and without conceptual overlays.

Enjoy!
  • Two Worlds: Part 5: Ego Box

As I said in “Part 4” of the “Two World” series, the only purpose of the media is to project limiting thought by covering issues that are always ego associated. How things affect you personally in your life and your surroundings.

The media is comparable to a tiny narrow box that confines each individual as an egocentric and the ego is perfectly happy in this environment because there is no treat to its existence. The treats build when your thoughts and feelings go outside the egos box and perspectives.
Hence, one way to see the ego as the tool it is, would be to build your horizon, perspective, and awareness past the egos center. Start focusing on worldly matters, the universe as a whole, unity and oneness. Rather then your comfort, how your community affects you or the nation you are living in, and what separates you from everybody else. I cannot think of a better way to do that then helping people and serving as many people as I possibly can. The way I help people is to share my experiences and the way I share my experiences without involving the ego is to talk about the experiences that I feel millions of people have the potential of benefiting from. Think of yourself as a person who is at the end of the road and you have the opportunity to share the most valuable things you have experienced in life with multi-billions of people worldwide. What would you have people know about the most important discovers you made in life? What is life experience without sharing? We are all in this experience together and the more we share with each other the less series of suffering and painful experiences we have to go through.

Life is set-up in a design that is perfectly set to force us all to see ourselves as infinite potential beings of magnificence. We stop ourselves from seeing this side of ourselves by our limiting beliefs that suggest, “I can’t” or “not possible”. Each time we become aware of a limiting belief, we will go through a series of events and experience that will allow us to see through the limiting belief and go outside our comfort zones. I used an example in a past post about how a shy child will stay inside their comfort zone until their life progresses in such a design forcing them to choose the choice that once said, “I can’t”. Rather the shyness is holding them back from a job, moving out of their parent’s house, getting involved into a relationship or express who they are completely, doesn’t matter. What does matter, is that through a series of experiences stacked on top of each other causes force and pressure on a person compelling them to choose not to be shy any longer, and the lifting of the limiting belief/shyness vanishes.

If you choose to build your horizon, perspective, and awareness past your ego then you will be embarking on a difficult journey. In fact, I would go as far as to say it is the most difficult adventure one can pursue because the more you become aware, the more limiting beliefs you will see, and the more limiting beliefs you perceive, the more aware you will be of each experience that leads you to rid of your limiting beliefs. Therefore, you have to contain extreme courage to undertake this path; rather you call this path a spiritual one, enlightenment one, or personal development one, does not matter because all these paths lead to the same result, awareness of these series of experiences. The only two differences from embarking on this awareness journey and staying with the ego are time and pain. We will all go through these series of experiences no matter how much we resist, so it is not a issue of if but of when. Awareness allows one to reach this understanding promptly without the pain of the forcing pressure. It is easier to choose the choice without force because the evidence of what is happening is much to overwhelming to ignore, so naturally you choose the choice rather then forcefully. The only reason suffering exists is the resisting of this issues. It is all about eliminating the limiting beliefs because once you have no limiting beliefs then your universal knowledge of everything will be the your perfect pure experience. Knowing everything is not enough, knowing everything in experience is the full knowledge of everything. Hence, you would be wise to notice what limiting belief you have and how to rid of them. I wrote a past article on how to recognize limited beliefs and how to do away with them.

I mentioned in this post as I do all over this website that the way to determine a limited belief is to ask if it says, “I can’t” or “not possible” but I didn’t mention that any fear you have a limited belief too. I have a solution on how to eliminate all fears forever .
