Welcome

If you're interested in conscious living, then likely you're just as equally interested in Zen but simply not knowingly interested.

Usually Zen is associated with Japanese culture and religious or Buddhism practice, but true Zen (or at least the way this site uses the term) is emphasizing the value of conscious living.

Zen and conscious living come together and go hand-in-hand. Hence, conscious living without Zen is a huge oversight and vice-versa because these are not two.

"Conscious Flex: Zen & Conscious Living" is designed to offer a partnership of how these seemingly two are actually one movement.

Zen is the foundational spaciousness or presence from which conscious living derives. In the same manner that an artist, inventor or intuitive actions come from the stillness in the silence of non-movement.

In other words, Zen is a resting in the powerful space of not thinking about thought, not doing anything about doing, not trying to be the solver or understander, the knower collector but simply allowing the intelligence of life to flow through you and as you.

What is described can be thought of as meditation or accessing our intuition, but it's actually just natural living.

Often you will see kids in a natural resting space or presence and we tell them "snap out of it" because we think they are in "lala land" or "fantasy land" and not paying attention but actually they are simply being completely present with what is. It's natural to just rest and be, that's the flow from which insight and wisdom arises from.

Hence, conscious living is also the natural flow of how life organically expands upon itself. Consequently, conscious living is Zen living, when it's pure and without conceptual overlays.

Enjoy!
  • Giving Value for Abundance

In this last article, "How to Attract Money into Your Life & Get into the Mind-Set of Abundance (My Personal Experience)" there was an example based on my personal experience how money is a system of giving value. One of the key points was this: "What is valuable to you, is valuable to others (your perspective will always work for you)".

However, the most valuable thing you possess that will always be valuable to others, is your passion (no matter what that may be). The reason being is
because out of passion your unique talents, abilities, skills, and creativeness are expressed. This is an expression that is oriented and ordained just for you as an individual. In other words, money is a system of giving value and the closest value to abundance that you can give, is your passion expressed. Giving such an abundance, will attract the receiving of abundance by the design of the system behind money and the universe.

Why Does Passion Work This Way?

Nothing comes closer in speaking to peoples hearts and the core of their being than passion. Why? Nothing comes closer to helping you express yourself from the core of all emotion than passion. What is emotion? Emotion is energy in motion. The more motion energy has, the more quickly, productively, and effortlessly the energy can move into matter. As a result, the matter is created with the design of the universe. The universe is always expanding and always has been expanding. You help it expand through your passion in a way that is aligned with the energy of creative expression (quickly, productively, and effortlessly). You help the universe expand and by doing so, the universe has more to give back to you in a quick, productive, and effortless manner.

Simply put: When you live your passion, you are creating. Creating gives back to the universe and everything given, is again received. The infinite circle and cycle is complete.

It does not matter what your passion is. You could have a passion to meditate and (as long as you put passion into action) the universe will find a way to give back abundance. Every passion leads to abundance in abundance of ways. Since the universe is infinite, there are an infinite potential possibilities in every infinite moment. It is difficult to understand what infinite really is and what it means, but if you could see behind you limited beliefs, limited expectations, limited perspectives (the reasons why infinite potential is difficult to experience), then you would never question the possibilities behind every moment. There are literally infinite opportunities within every second! You just have to be open to the possibilities. Sound like magic? This is not magic, science discovered this too (click the link above for more information). You are here for a purpose and nothing comes closer to purpose than living passion. How do you find your passion and make it a living career? I wrote an article here that expresses the answer to that exact question. :)
