"Hi Nicholas,

Finally getting around to contacting you again. I have been receiving your articles via RSS, so I am keeping up with you what you have been up to. I have one question for you.

"Falling away of personal will" vs. Laziness. What are your thoughts. Recently, I have been experiencing not doing anything that I was doing before. I can't pull/push myself to do it. A part of me says it is falling away of personal will. But, the other part says it is laziness. How do we know which energy is which?

Thanks"

I don't know the difference and I have no interest in knowing. Only thought can know or want to know anything. But it's a false knowing. Thoughts are nothing but words. Words are nothing but made-up and make-believe knowledge. Squiggly little lines that look like letters, but they are not 'letters', that is just what we made up for communication purposes. How can squiggly little shapes tell you anything of knowledge? Nothing can be known without words and yet words are learned conditions.

It would be like my teaching you that squiggiouslynessal means to form an idea about nonsense. Of course that is false because "squiggiouslynessal" doesn't mean anything, I just made it up. People take made-up words and assume that they know something based on the words. Words cannot know anything.

All words have meaning only because we all agreed on these meanings for communication purposes, but the meanings are made-up too. Can you know anything without the words that form thoughts? No, because all knowledge in the whole universe is made up into words/thoughts. Words/thoughts are empty, they mean nothing since they are made-up, make-believe, false, fake.

I know nothing. Neither do you or anybody else for that matter. We are all pretending to know based on conceptual wording.

However I will say this. When the words are seen to be empty and hold no knowledge, what is seen is that there is no personal will. There never was any personal will, just thoughts thinking. So one cannot fall away from personal will, they can only pretend they have a personal will based on false knowledge of thoughts or they can see the emptiness of thoughts that don't will anything.

But this is not a choice. I can explain nothing all day long (which I love to do by the way, so ask all you want) and it will not help you to choose to see what I am saying because it's not a choice. The one that would pretend to choose is thought and thought cannot do anything except think. Thought think that is what they do but nobody is doing it. It is a condition of human nature upon learning words. Thoughts think in words. Words flowing out into more words and words and words. All empty words. Words say nothing. Words have nothing to say. In fact words do not form thoughts at all. We call those voiceless symbols in our head "thoughts" but that is not what they really are. I don't know what they are. And these so-called "thoughts" are not really formed from 'words", we just all them words. I don't know what they are. And these words don't really look like squiggly lines or shapes, I don't know what they look like. These so-called squiggly lines cannot be known to be anything certain.

In the same-way when you look really close to your television, all you see is colorful dots that make no-sense what-so-ever. The only reason we know what we are seeing from far-away is because we were taught that certain shapes and colors and patterns mean certain things. But it is just pretend knowledge. All of life is like these weird colorful patterns and shapes, nobody can really know what anything really is, they just have to be willing to look at things closer. People just assume what they believe is accurate because everything goes unquestioned. Question everything and you will see that there are no answers because nobody really knows.

By the way, there is nothing wrong with laziness because there is no such thing. But we were taught this pretend knowledge of what laziness is and we were taught that it is wrong to engage in that "knowing" called laziness. If you didn't pretend to know what laziness means, then there would be no such thing and nothing would have any more value than it because all of it is seen to be false knowledge. Laziness and it's pretend opposite "productive" are both false knowledge.

Therefore neither one is really existing. There is just being human and out of being human doing seems to take place and all doing is effortless because nobody is doing it, just a being. It is only the judgments that this human is being lazy and this human is being productive that create the false paradigm of thinking that being can do something different in order to be more being. Being is all there is, there is nothing you can do to escape that. So be all the beingness that a human can be and doing is not seen to be a problem because you are not doing, you are always being.

I had a donation page here. I don't want your donations. I want a world where money is not needed to survive, where poverty is history, where repetitive jobs are nonexistence, where the environment and humanity are treated as the Wholeness of Life itself. Join us in the solution towards a feasible reality we all deserve. :)
