It's all concepts, all of it! What would it look like to drop a self? What would it look like to see yourself (or awareness) everywhere? What would it look like to be egoless? Hell, I don't know what that looks like.
And to be honest I don't what it is that I am seeing right now. Sure I can try to find the words, but they fail everytime. Like right now in this moment, I would say it feels like an unfamiliar familiarity with everything, but don't go looking for what that might look like because THAT IS NOT ACCURATE! What would it look like to see such a paradox? I don't know! The key is in not knowing. It's indescribable because there is nothing to say about it that is factual, actual, accurate, or true! Nothing! Not even this!
So you want me to describe this to you and you believe it can be described because you believe that words point to an actual existence. But what are words? Words are made-up, make-believe, imaginary symbols that we all agreed on for communication purposes. Words are fake. Do you really believe that the space you call "up" (which is only a word) is an actual space in existence? If you do believe that, then you must believe there is an actual separate space called "down". So riddle me this, where is the dividing line between "up" and "down"? Is it not a seamless one space? Can you see how words seem to separate things into separate spaces? Can you see how life is not really separate?
This is how you know anything that you know at all. Everything you know is through words and words alone. We all seem to agree that there is an "up" and there is a "down", but don't you find it funny how nobody can agree where the separating line between the seemingly two is located at? This is all any disagreement is ever about, location of words. All opinions, beliefs, ideas, concepts, perspectives, thoughts, etc... are all a combination of words and the location of where those words are. Yet the words are not anywhere except in the combination of words. In other words, the words do not point to an actuality. Words are taught, programmed, conditioned, and putting a belief on words as an actual factual reality is the only pretend knowledge that exists.
Without words how can you know what anything is? Knowledge is through knowing words alone. When words are seen through as false, made-up, make-believe, symbols for communication only, then whatever this is, this life, this reality, this experience, CAN NOT be known. And any words to describe it are inaccurate! All words are concepts, inaccurate models of the world.
Words are empty symbols of communication, they do NOT speak truth EVER. How can something made-up speak truth? I don't know what this is! Not knowing is freedom. As long as you even have the slightest idea about yourself, others, life, the world, etc.. then you are relaying on words to know and therefore relaying on false conceptual ideas of whatever this is.
Are there separate things called: "yourself", "other", "life", "the world" etc... when there are no words to know these things as separate? You can only define these things with more words. If you need more words to explain what a single word means, "other" for example, then how can "other" be an actuality? Would it not be independent of words? Would not everybody know what it means without explaining it? Words are a human conceptual teaching and words don't actually point to separate things. All the things you can point to using words, is here in this one environment and cannot be separated or divided from the environment it is in because there is only one environment in which we all (and everything else) exist.
You are looking for enlightenment through knowledge and enlightenment is only seen by not knowing what anything actually is! It is seen to always be here as it is, but we were pretending to know through words.
So see for yourself, see if you can actually find a location called "California" that is in a separate space from "Nevada" or is traveling from California into Nevada the same space, the same land? Do the words actually separate? In the same way do the words "you" and "me" actually separate 'us'? Are we not in the same space, same environment, same life?
Enlightenment looks like this, like life, like it has always looked. It's just seeing that words don't define anything as actual fact or truth or objectively.
So forget all the nonsense wordy crap like "everything is me" or "no-self" or "living in the now" or "choicelessness" or "self-realization" or "liberation" or "enlightenment" or"nothingness" or "no-time" or "formlessness" or "no-doer" or "egolessness" etc... IT'S ALL FALSE! None of it is accurate! It's all concepts! Nobody knows what any of those descriptions actual look like! Even the people who say it, they don't know!
That's the point, not knowing. And that is all that is ever being pointed to. So drop the knowledge of what is being said and just look directly into your own life to where the words are pointing. They are pointing to this life as it is, as you see it there, except without really knowing what it is. Nobody knows what this is, who they are, who anybody else is, what this is about, why this is here! Nobody! How could you know through made-up words? How can words make sense of this? Creating some words that we all agree with doesn't give us knowledge about what is here, it just makes us feel comfortable and gives us the illusion that we know. Dare to see life without knowing!
Dare to see life as it is; unknown. Dare to be as you are; unknown to yourself. Dare to see others as they are: unknowable. Dare to see this world as it is; without thinking that thought knows what it is.
See life as if you are seeing it for the first time. Like that of an innocent child. OF COURSE NOBODY WILL KNOW WHAT THAT LOOKS LIKE BECAUSE THAT IS ONLY A CONCEPT! I DON'T KNOW! It's just this, what does this life look like to you? When you find that you can't describe what life looks like in an accurate way then you might find that you don't know. Of course I am not sure what that will look like because I don't know what I am seeing here and not sure what this life is.
That is all you are searching for, searching for what can't be known but it's not really a search because you never did know anything for absolute certain. You only thought, believed, and assumed you did. Be honest with yourself, can you truly know without thought, beliefs, or concepts? If you can know, is that not just another thought, belief, or concept about this? What is this life without those ideas?
Knowing from direct experience is the only knowledge and that knowledge will show you that you don't know.
It is no wonder we follow others who seemingly know because after failing to know in our direct experience, all we have left is to rely on others to know for us since they must know better than our own direct taste of life... HA! What a joke. All one can do is direct you back to your own taste of life where you have nothing to fall on because you can't know. You can only delude yourself into thinking you can know.
All knowledge that doesn't derive from this unknowing is false knowledge based on made-up words that seem to create reality based on an overlay of knowledge that is not really known at all.
If life was about knowledge, ideas, concepts, thoughts, words, labels... we would have figured it out long ago. I DON'T KNOW! I don't even know this with absolute certain, but words seem to give the impression that something can be known. Don't be fooled, nothing is known; not by me or anybody else who points to this.
