I realize not many people get a chance to read the comments, since most people read this blog through email. As a result, I wanted to post the questions from the last article: Isn't Nonduality Just Another Belief System?

"Can you give examples from your life, how you deal with beliefs and values?
If someone ask you your opinion on war or soceity or anything, how do you deal with it?

What is the "spiritual" approach to conversations and discussings?? Like when you are writing this article your expressing a belief, this is what you know to be true in your life and your sharing it.

is beliefs, values and all these kind of forms something one can express freely and should as long as there is no identification??? because then it's pure consciousness/awareness.. If that's so, Ill get it now, if not, we have some further unwrapping to do :-D"

There is nothing to understand. There is no goal. There is no purpose to any of this. I am not sure why pointing happens. There is no goal as to why this is being said. I could say that the reason this pointing happens is because there was an idea of a sufferer here and that idea has fallin away and now this body/mind moves to ease the suffering that is not there. However, that is just speculation of thought. There really is no reason or why that covers it. It just is the way it is and it is fine to specular upon it because no true reason will ever be drawn upon. As explained in this article all thoughts are bullshit.

Ask this body/mind its opinion on war in this moment and seems to be saying that it is what it is and ask it another moment and it might express an opinion but the moment the opinion is expressed and there are no words expressing it anymore, then it is gone. The thought arises in awareness, it was expressed, and then it faded back into awareness.

No thought here is actually believed as MY thought or MY opinion so it doesn't stick. When I searched for me, all I found was a bundle of thoughts and feelings arising in awareness. I found no controller, no thinker, no one doing or causing anything to happen. If I thought that the opinion was mine, I would remember it and if you asked my opinion on it again, then I would express the same idea and that idea would be seen as seriously mine and I would hold responsibility to that idea. This is the sufferer. But it is just thought. Every memory is just thought too. In fact, memories are not seen to be real, they are just a thought that is happening now.

Since I have no idea what this body/mind is going to think, say, or do in any second of time or moment, there is really no telling what is going to unfold and therefore every thought of a past or a future is fantasy and imagination, much like a child playing games. Therefore, as soon as a thought is expressed in the moment, it is gone the next. It is like a mental growing up, I guess one could say.

But having said that, it doesn't matter if one 'mentally grows up' or not because that was just a passing opinion about it. There is no ultimate goal or purpose in life, so have fun with the games. Or don't have fun, it doesn't matter because fun is not the goal either. Fun is just a passing opinion about what can unfold.

You see, there is really nothing to say about this because the moment it is said, it is completely different the next moment. The only 'thing' that is unchanging is the awareness that sees all this and that is where the freedom of this is found. That is all that is being pointed to but it is so obvious and simple that there is nothing to get about it. Everything you say about it or point to it, is just witnessing what is being said.

Beliefs can only happen if an opinion (thought) is continuously repeated in every moment. Nothing I say is being believed. Not even the obvious fact of what is being pointed to because that needs no belief about it, it is obvious right now in everyone's experience.

Nothing can touch or harm this awareness and since that is what you are, it doesn't matter what is identified with and what is not. It only matters to the idea of a sufferer and there is a compassion here for that nonexistence sufferer.

"
this aware and alert presence that is awake to these words right now seems extremely limited. i'm aware of my immediate surroundings, this body here, thoughts. i read about 'unlimited awareness' and infinite intelligence and it doesn't relate. and yet you say that this here is IT. oh well, whatever."

Experiment with it than. Can you find a border? Can you find where it begins and where it ends? It notices the beginning and ending of the body, but does it notice an end or beginning to itself?

When you say you think it is extremely limited, what it is limited to? It's just a believe that it is limited to the body/mind, but if you look and see, you will see that it has no such limit. If you believe it is in the body/mind, then where can you locate it at? Where in the body/mind does it arise from?

Most would say that the outer experience, is the body/mind and the appearances which the body/mind sees and the inner experience is the thoughts and feelings that the body/mind has and the awareness is more on the inner.

However, if you look closely, you will see that everything is on the 'outer' of awareness. Awareness is the only inner 'experience'. The awareness is aware of the body/mind, the appearances (The body/mind is just another appearance), thoughts and feelings are an appearances on the outer as well. The only inner experience is awareness which can't be located because it can't be separated from the appearances it sees. If every appearance can't be separated from the awareness that is aware of the appearance(s), then awareness is not limited to only a body/mind appearance.

Yet as a 'first step' try to experiment with it and see if you can notice in your experience how awareness is the foundation and everything else is an 'outer' experience of the 'inner' awareness.

If you are interested in investigating this, perhaps this article will help (it shows a video which is very telling): http://consciousflex.blogspot.com/2009/08/aware...
Plus this article breaks everything down as close with words that I could come to in the perspective of how awareness is experienced here. It is a invitation to look in your own experience, rather than assuming what we were taught.

It is very easy to see this (because you were born seeing things this way), you just have to be willing to put assumptions aside and look to your direct experience about what is happening. An investigation if you will.

Let me know what you come up with in your own experience by reading and investigating with this article and the exercises contained within it.

You really have to be willing to investigate this, you can't just rely on the words of others, you will hang into the words forever and never see for yourself what is happening in your own experience. The words are only pointing to your own experience.

I had a donation page here. I don't want your donations. I want a world where money is not needed to survive, where poverty is history, where repetitive jobs are nonexistence, where the environment and humanity are treated as the Wholeness of Life itself. Join us in the solution towards a feasible reality we all deserve. :)
