From the infinite potential consciousness perspective, the past does not exist unless consciousness is perceiving it. From a cubed perspective consciousness, the past does exist as something solid. To help better convey the infinite potential consciousness, this article will be explained from a cubed consciousness (as if there is a past). In this way, you can recognize for yourself that even if you believe in the past, everywhere throughout 'the past' there have been teachers/ leaders guiding you to comprehend the infinite potential consciousness.
Let us take a well-known teacher in 'history' to start with:
- "I am in the Father and the Father in me, and the Father and I are one" ~Jesus of Nazareth (7–2 BC/BCE to 26–36 AD/CE) Central Figure of Christianity.
From a cubed consciousness perspective you may understand this quote as Jesus being the son of God or Jesus being God in the body. From a infinite potential consciousness perspective, you would understand this quote as Jesus saying God is within.
To convey the Infinite Potential Consciousness (or IPC for short) understanding, here is another quote by Jesus:
- “Whatever you do to the least of my brothers, you do unto me.” ~Jesus
- "Love thy neighbor as thyself." ~Jesus
- "Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged; and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again." ~Jesus
The main idea in the above quotes is the connection and unity of all things. Here are some more quotes of connection:
- "He who experiences the unity of life sees his own Self in all beings, and all beings in his own Self, and looks on everything with an impartial eye." ~Buddha AKA: Gautama Siddharta (563 B.C. - 483 B.C.) Hindu Prince, the Founder of Buddhism. Spiritual Teacher from Ancient India.
- "He alone sees truly who sees the Lord the same in every creature...seeing the same Lord everywhere, he does not harm himself or others." ~Krishna AKA: Bhagavad Gita (3228 B.C.E - 3100 B.C.E.) Deity Worshiped Across Many Traditions of Hinduism.
- "Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned." ~Buddha
Once you understand that connection, then the next step is comprehending the reason for it all being connected. That reason is you. You are consciousness and everything is contained within that consciousness.
- "The kingdom of heaven is inside you and it is outside you." ~Jesus
- "The kingdom of heaven is spread out across the earth, only people don't see it." ~Jesus
- "The kingdom of God is within you." ~Jesus
The kingdom of heaven is inside you, outside you, and spread out across the earth; just like God. You just don't see it because you believe yourself to be an observer of this reality, and not a creator of this reality. You are God (consciousness) creating, not a mind/body observing.
- "Consciousness is eternal it is not vanquished with the destruction of the temporary body" ~Krishna
- “You are infinite valor and the boundless might. You pervade everything, and therefore You are everywhere and in everything.” ~Krishna
- “Without You, there is no other; the entire Universe is the Arena of Your Play.” ~Sri Guru Granth Sahib (1469 - 1708) The Head of the Sikh religion.
- “Everything is within the home of the self; there is nothing beyond.” ~Sri Guru Granth Sahib
- “There is no God, no universe, no human race, no earthly life, no heaven, no hell. It is all a dream, a grotesque and foolish dream. Nothing exists but you." ~Mark Twain (1835-1910) American Humorist, Writer and Lecturer.
- “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our Light, not our Darkness, that most frightens us.” ~Marianne Williamson (1952) Author and Lecturer, Spiritual Leader of the Church of Today.
Once you can accept that you are all that exists and you are everywhere/ everything as consciousness (God), then you can understand your infinite potential:
- "And remember, no matter where you go, there you are." ~Confucius
- "I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, Move from here to there and it will move. Nothing will be impossible to you." ~Jesus
- "You shall do what I do and more" ~Jesus
- "Ask, and it will be given you; Seek, and you will find; Knock, and it will be opened to you." ~Jesus
- “One can become whatever one wants to be [if one constantly contemplates on the object of desire with faith].” ~Krishna
- “You are everything that is, your thoughts, your life, your dreams come true. You are everything you choose to be. You are as unlimited as the endless universe.” ~Shad Helmstetter - Author & Personal Growth Advisor.
Faith is extremely powerful, since faith can bypass your expectations, your perspectives, and your beliefs. You create everything you expect, perceive, and belief. Yet, faith the size of a mustard seed can overcome the all of anything/ everything created, since faith is the strongest part in which you can choose to create with. Most put faith in their expectations, perspectives, and beliefs which only makes the belief seem solid. Yet, a belief is nothing more than a thought that creates. Just by believing, you are creating the facts for that believe:
- "Creation starts in your mind with your thoughts and imagination. As you think and believe, so it becomes." ~John Harricharan - Award-winning Author.
- "The more man meditates upon good thoughts, the better will be his world and the world at large." ~Confucius (551 BCE – 479 BCE) Chinese Philosopher.
- "If I have the belief that I can do it, I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it even if I may not have it at the beginning." ~Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (1869-1948) Political and Spiritual Leader of India.
- “Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.” ~Krishna
- "Belief creates the actual fact." ~William James (1842-1910) American Philosopher and Psychologist, Leader of the Philosophical Movement of Pragmatism.
- “Believe that life is worth living and your belief will help create the fact.” ~William James
- "If the facts don't fit the theory, change the facts." ~Albert Einstein (1879-1955) Theoretical Physicist.
You are continuously creating your expectations, perspectives, and beliefs. Yet that does not make anything solid, since creation does not happen in the past or the future:
- "Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment." ~Buddha
- "The distinction between the past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion." ~Albert Einstein
- “History is nothing more than the belief in the senses, the belief in falsehood.” ~Friedrich Nietzsche quotes (1844-1900) German Classical Scholar, Philosopher and Critic of Culture.
- “The world we see that seems so insane is the result of a belief system that is not working. To perceive the world differently, we must be willing to change our belief system, let the past slip away, expand our sense of now, and dissolve the fear in our minds.” ~William James
Creation only happens in the present moment of now. Creations cannot happen without you consciously observing it, since nothing exists by itself:
- “The ability to be in the present moment is a major component of mental wellness." ~Abraham Harold Maslow (1908 - 1970) Psychologists.
- “I have realized that the past and future are real illusions, that they exist in the present, which is what there is and all there is.” ~Alan Watts (1915-1973) American Writer, Thinker and Interpreter of Zen Buddhism.
- “Nothing exists until or unless it is observed. An artist is making something exist by observing it." ~William S. Burroughs (1914 - 1997) Novelist, Essayist, Social Critic, Painter and Spoken Word Performer.
- "Each night, when I go to sleep, I die. And the next morning, when I wake up, I am reborn." ~Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi
- “All things appear and disappear because of the concurrence of causes and conditions. Nothing ever exists entirely alone; everything is in relation to everything else.” ~Buddha
- “There is no quality in this world that is not what it is merely by contrast. Nothing exists in itself.” ~Herman Melville (1819-1891) Short-story Writer, Novelist and Poet.
When you understand this completely, you have no fear. You realize that everything is an illusion:
- “We live in illusion and the appearance of things. There is a reality. We are that reality. When you understand this, you see that you are nothing, and being nothing, you are everything. That is all.” ~Kalu Rinpoche (1905-1989) Tibetan Lama, Buddhist Leader.
- “We live in a fantasy world, a world of illusion. The great task in life is to find reality." ~Iris Murdoch (1919-1999) British Novelist and Philosopher.
- "Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one." ~Albert Einstein
- “Fear not what is not real, never was and never will be. What is real, always was and cannot be destroyed.” ~Krishna
- "As far as the laws of mathematics refer to reality, they are not certain, and as far as they are certain, they do not refer to reality." ~Albert Einstein
In this illusion, it becomes obvious that serving the illusion of 'others' is the greatest realization of Self:
- “You are not doing service for others. You are doing it always for yourselves, to the God in you, the God who is equally present in others.” ~Sri Sathya Sai Baba (1926) Indian Spiritual Leader.
- "It's better to give than to receive." ~Jesus
- "When you are laboring for others let it be with the same zeal as if it were for yourself." ~Confucius
- "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." ~Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi
- "Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile." ~Albert Einstein
You overcome the limit of being logical and adopt the ability to create through imagination/ questions:
- “Logic: The art of thinking and reasoning in strict accordance with the limitations and incapacities of the human misunderstanding.” ~Ambrose Bierce (1842-1914) American Writer, Journalist and Editor.
- "The want of logic annoys. Too much logic bores. Life eludes logic, and everything that logic alone constructs remains artificial and forced." ~Andre Gide (1869 - 1951) French Author and Winner of the Nobel Prize.
- "Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere." ~Albert Einstein
- “Questions provide the key to unlocking our unlimited potential.” ~Anthony Robbins (1960) American Advisor to Leaders.
Yes there is a connection, that connection is you, but what is the purpose of it all? The Next Article will be on the purpose of life through the infinite potential consciousness.
